Two inventory upgrades: know what your stock really costs, and see exactly where it is.
Multi-location retail comes down to two questions. What does my inventory actually cost me? And where is it right now? This release answers both, with landed cost on purchase orders and live cross-location stock on transfers.
Know your true cost, with landed cost on purchase orders
The vendor invoice is rarely the real cost of getting a product onto your shelf. Freight, duty, customs, broker fees, insurance. It adds up fast. If you are not counting it, your margins look healthier on paper than they do in the till.
Now you can track landed cost right on the purchase order. Add your extra costs to a PO, and Vibe spreads them across the items on that order, then saves the true landed cost per item the moment you receive.
- Add freight, duty, customs, broker fees, insurance, and anything else to any PO.
- Costs are split proportionally, so every unit carries its fair share.
- Profit reporting uses the landed cost, so your margins reflect reality.
- What you owe the vendor does not change. Extra costs hit your cost of goods, not your payable.
- Close a PO automatically once it is fully received, if you want.
Turn it on in Store Config > Items > Purchase orders. It is optional and off by default, so nothing changes until you switch it on.
Know where it is, with cross-location stock on transfers
Moving stock between stores should not be a guessing game. Building a transfer used to mean knowing, or hoping, that another location had the item you needed.
Now, when you add an item to a transfer, Vibe shows the on-hand quantity at every one of your other locations right in the item picker. See which store has the stock, and pull it from the right place.
- On-hand counts for all your other locations, live in the transfer screen.
- Every variation, each size and color, shows its own stock by location.
- Pull from the location that can spare it, without leaving the transfer.
The full picture
Profit in multi-location retail comes down to buying well and balancing stock well. Landed cost makes sure you know your real margin before you set a price or reorder. Cross-location visibility makes sure the stock you already own ends up where it sells, instead of sitting dead in the wrong store.
Know what your inventory costs. Know where it is. That is the full picture.
Try it
Landed cost lives in Store Config > Items > Purchase orders. Cross-location stock appears automatically the next time you build a transfer.
